In a shocking case reported from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a family while mourning the death of a member, found out that he was still alive. According to a report in the Times of India, a 60-year-old man, named Hari Singh Rajput, a resident of Shabdpratap Ashram was hospitalised on Wednesday. The doctors while treating him for breathing issues mentioned that he will be discharged after 24 hours.
However, on Thursday at around 6 am, an injection was administered after which his condition worsened. TOI report claimed he began vomiting and foam came out of his mouth. The relatives immediately called the doctor and he was declared dead.
However, the family indulged in a heated argument with the hospital staff accusing them of medical negligence. They also called the local police and lodged a complaint against the hospital. After which, shockingly, the hospital staff put the man on ventilator support and claimed that he could be saved.
However, he was declared dead after some time. The police pacified the angry family members and asked them to take the body home. Relatives and family members gathered to perform last rites and were preparing for the funeral when one of the family members went close to the body felt a pulse.
They called a doctor, who confirmed that the man was alive. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and is still under treatment.
